Climate Action North supercharges 'Green June' with events

A two-day online conference to share hopeful rewilding stories marked this year’s World Environment Day and World Oceans Day.

The Young Women’s Film Academy, an organisation dedicated to empowering girls and young women through filmmaking, is urgently appealing for donations to meet its crowdfunding target for a short film project.

This International Women’s Day we are taking the opportunity to celebrate and spotlight some amazing women in the North of England who inspire us through their climate actions. From boardrooms and large organisations, to entrepreneurs, local communities, and education, these women are using their voices, wisdom, and influence to take climate action.

Climate Action North is delighted to announce a project with a dementia nursing home in Sunderland to rewild their outdoor space and improve access to nature.

Thursday 16 November is Social Enterprise Day, a global event celebrating the incredible contribution social enterprises make to communities and the environment across the world.
