A two-day online conference to share hopeful rewilding stories marked this year’s World Environment Day and World Oceans Day.

A one-day conference, organised by community interest company Climate Action North, is turning the tide on taking ocean action by inspiring people on the extensive work taking place to restore and conserve the seas and oceans.

A one-day Ocean Action Conference will take place on Seaburn seafront in Sunderland on 8 June 2023.

Highlighting ocean action happening across the UK, the conference will feature experts, ocean practitioners, and marine biologists speaking about the challenges faced in rewilding the seas.

Following the recent BBC Wild Isles television programme, it is appropriate that ocean experts and those taking action for the oceans will gather for a conference on The United Nations World Oceans Day on 8 June.

Social Enterprise, Climate Action North, has confirmed a series of online Book Wilding events to celebrate and showcase a range of books and their authors.

A networking event for small businesses to access practical support on achieving net zero took place on Tuesday 29 November 2022. Small businesses from all sectors wanting to learn more about net zero and how to achieve it, attended a morning event organised by social enterprise Climate Acton North.
