Advanced Renewables powers Climate Action

AR Power and Climate Action North team

AR Power Ltd has renewed its sponsorship with Climate Action North, reinforcing their commitment to impactful, action-oriented projects.

The partnership supports initiatives like beach cleans and litter picks, driving real and lasting environmental change in the North of England.

Established in 2011, the award-winning company provides solar and battery storage installations to businesses. Their focus on slashing energy bills and offsetting carbon footprints helps clients achieve their Net Zero targets.

Maria Dunville, owner and director at AR Power, said: “The climate crisis is the greatest risk we face, and its effects are undeniable. We firmly believe we must move beyond business as usual and take meaningful action. Our renewed partnership with Climate Action North perfectly aligns with our mission to bring about tangible, long-lasting change.”

AR Power is dedicated to making a positive environmental impact, addressing the climate emergency, and decreasing reliance on fossil fuels through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts that support ecosystems, protect nature, and ensure a sustainable environment for future generations.

Climate Action North’s CEO, Sharon Lashley, said: “AR Power’s steadfast commitment to environmental stewardship and social value principles mirrors our own mission to drive positive social impact. We are thrilled to continue collaborating with them and continue to deliver real action while providing fantastic volunteering opportunities for their workforce.”

Climate Action North’s portfolio of work is mainly funded by corporate sponsorships from the business community, which is then reinvested into climate action projects across the North of England.

Climate Action North operates across the North of England and has a raft of programmes including rewilding areas through Pollinator Parks®, community education programmes such as Global Wilders®, and North East Action for Rivers focusing on cleaning up rivers in the region, litter picking, and beach cleans.
