Stephenson Mohl commits to supporting Climate Action

Mark Stephenson, Director at Stephenson-Mohl Group

A Public Affairs Consultancy is partnering with Climate Action North to support its action-oriented projects that tackle the climate crisis.

The Stephenson-Mohl Group, who help organisations map opportunities and risks and plan and deliver management and growth strategies, has made the decision in acknowledgement to the urgent need to take meaningful action and build back better and greener from the impact of Covid-19.

Mark Stephenson, Director at Stephenson-Mohl Group, has long been an advocate of Climate Action North. He said: “I have watched the fantastic progress made by Climate Action North over the past three years and their dedication and determination to continue to champion the necessary changes to halt the climate crisis has never ceased to impress.

“Now as a sponsor, we are demonstrating our support and commitment to work in solidarity and reach beyond ‘business as usual’ to highlight and solve the critical issues around the climate crisis and work towards a green recovery.”

Mark, who founded the Stephenson-Mohl Group in 2018, has extensive experience working with business leaders and policy makers to raise awareness and deliver policy change in a wide range of sectors including the environment, energy innovation, transport and public health.

Climate Action North’s Managing Director, Sharon Lashley, said: “We’ve known Mark a long time now and have collaborated with him on a few projects, and it’s absolutely brilliant to now have the formal backing of the Stephenson-Mohl Group.

“Achieving the necessary action needed to halt the climate crisis requires collaboration and we know that our relationship with Mark, which is built on trust and reciprocity, will go a long way to seeing us deliver practical and genuine solutions.”

The sponsorship will support the delivery of a range of projects including the Pollinator Parks initiative which rewilds and transforms outdoor areas on retail and business parks into ecological oases to help bees, butterflies and birds thrive; and our Net Zero Matters Network, which encourages fresh thinking and innovative collaboration among the business community to take positive action to tackle the great challenges the climate and ecological crisis brings.

The time for talking is over, today we need to act.
